Residential - Foxlease 2021

Our five day annual residential, took us to  the New Forest, during the first weekend of the summer school holidays.  Our residential is a wonderful opportunity for members to try new and varied activities, learn new skills and make new friends. Our programme included organised outdoor activities, these were: biking in the New Forest led by Aaron, kayaking & canoeing led by Paul, and orienteering/geocaching led by Paul C, also lots, and lots of games. As well as  taking  part in activities, during the day, we could do crafts, play board games, and we had devotions sessions in the mornings and evenings, allowing the opportunity for our members to ask Reverend Kathryn W, any questions we may have about God.  We also had lovely meals provided by our cooks, Amanda, and Chyanne.  Our residential would not have been the same without the ‘SYG formal dinner’ and ‘Camp Concert’ whereby members and leaders can show any hidden talents or hobbies that they may have. Our annual residentials are a very special and integral part of Soham Brigade.  Everyone is encouraged to come along and see for themselves what is on offer.
